    Doug not only works to continuously expand his development and technical SharePoint knowledge, but he also actively participates, both as a learner and an educator, in the SharePoint and broader technical community. He is the leader of a Chicago area SharePoint Developers User Group and the co-coordinator for SharePoint Saturday Chicago. He also speaks at user groups, SharePoint Saturday events, and conferences around the country.

    Doug graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In addition to holding several Microsoft SharePoint Technical Certifications, Doug is also a CPA and serves on the Board of Directors of two small educational not-for-profit organizations.​
