SharePoint support for TLS 1.2

A common practice we are seeing since vulnerabilities were discovered in the TLS 1.0 protocol is network and server admins disabling SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, and sometimes TLS 1.1.  SharePoint 2016 supports this out-of-the-box, but SharePoint 2010 and 2013 require significant changes to all servers in the farm. Client machines may potentially need patched as well depending on what version of Windows they are running and what browser they use to access your SharePoint sites.  The official documentation describing what needs to be done is located at https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt773992(v=office.14).aspx for SharePoint 2010 and at https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt773991.aspx for SharePoint 2013.  Note that if you disable TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 without following these steps, the web applications in the farm will fail to load.
